It all starts with the base. Every export pallet we use is heavy-duty, kiln-dried, and certified for international shipping. Before a single plate is placed, we inspect each pallet for structural integrity, moisture content, and flatness. A warped pallet can translate to bent plates — and that is simply not an option.
This is where precision meets care. Our CTP plates are interleaved with acid-free protective paper, and we stack them layer by layer with exact alignment. We ensure every edge is flush. We don't rush this step — our team pays attention to the orientation of the emulsion side, ensuring that pressure is distributed evenly across the entire surface.
Once the stack reaches its full height, we fit heavy-duty edge guards and corner protectors. These aren't the flimsy cardboard corners you might see elsewhere. We use high-density, crush-resistant materials that absorb shocks from fork lifts, container doors, and the inevitable rolling of the ship at sea.
Now comes the crucial covering. We use an industrial-grade, multi-layer shrink film — but the trick isn't just the plastic; it's the tension. We apply consistent, even tension around the pallet. Too loose, and the plates shift; too tight, and you risk warping the stack. We hit the sweet spot that locks everything into a solid, unified block. We also wrap the top multiple times to protect against overhead condensation — a silent killer in container shipping.
This is the part that matters most to our clients in humid port cities. After the shrink wrap, we add a heavy-duty aluminium foil vapor barrier, completely sealing the bottom and top. Then, we place industrial desiccant bags inside the wrap. This creates a micro-climate inside the packaging that stays bone-dry, even when the container outside is sweating in tropical heat.
